ROSSORTUDNICHESTVO INTENDS TO KEEP ACTIVELY COOPERATING WITH TRANSNISTRIA

The unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan republic (PMR) and the RosSotrudnichestvo [Russian Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States, Compatriots Living Abroad and International Humanitarian Cooperation] is planning to achieve a wide range of goals in various directions, said Head of the agency representation in Moldova - the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Chisinau Mikhail Davydov at the meeting with PMR president Vadim Krasnoselsky in Tiraspol.

According to the Tiraspol leader's website, the visit of the Russian guest was aimed at mapping out a plan of interaction for 2019.

"At the development of the plan of joint events, the Transnistrian side's proposals were taken into account and currently we have all the grounds to expect their implementation", Davydov said.

The interlocutors agreed about the need of further progressive development of contacts for extending the list of joint projects and initiatives that contribute to strengthening of humanitarian connections between Transnistria and Russia. As of the end of the meeting, the two officials expressed readiness to keep in contact on all the actual issues.
