IRINA VLAH ASKS MOLDOVAN AUTHORITIES TO ENSURE SECURITY TO MEMBERS OF GAGAUZIA ELECTION COMMISSION

Candidate for Gagauzia governor Irina Vlah asked the Moldovan Ministry of the Interior to protect members of the Gagauzia central election commission. On TV she commented on insults and threats of physical abuse against members of the commission, expressed by candidacy-seeker Vasile Aladov, who was denied registration in election run. “I think that members of the commission should sue to court to protect their honor and dignity. I ask the Ministry of the Interior to assess the threats against the commission members, to protect them and their families, to make order in Gagauzia”, Irina Vlah said.
