RUSSIAN TRADE PROJECT PRESENTED IN TIRASPOL

Heads of industrial enterprises were presented the Russian Trade Project, promoted by the Transnistrian Agency for Investments and the Russian Trade and Economic Development Council (RTEDC) on Monday.

Minister of economic development of Transnistria Sergey Obolonik said to everyone present that the coming of Transnistria to the Russian market is the most important strategic direction.

"Many instruments were implemented for this entrance over recent time. Now we found a most efficient way for this", he said.

The RTEDC is an organization that proposes to exporting companies the service of seeking partners on target markets in the chosen branches and the conducting of negotiations till contract signing. Council Head Maxim Chereshnev informed the audience about the directions of the organization's work, its approach to development of trade and economic relations.

Director of the "Odema" garment factory Ilya Shoyhet said at the presentation that the Odema is participating in international exhibitions in Russia for already 10 years.

"However, we did not reach quite big results over this time. For two years we cooperated with the Kostroma firm engaged in production of school uniform. There were certain barriers. Unfortunately, today we do not supply our produce to Russia. We want to believe that this project will help resolving the problem with exports to Russia", Shoyhet said.
