The unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan republic (PMR) government approved the 2020-2021 program of privatization, including into it the packages of shares of eight large enterprises. If the law is adopted by the supreme soviet [region's parliament] and the consequent selling, the government hopes to get almost 322.5 million rubles (US$20 million) for them.

The list includes the "Odema" garment factory, known since Soviet times, which has 525 workers currently, while its production capacities are used by 68%. The region authorities hope to get 61.2 million rubles. The privatization is planned to be conducted in 2020 at the individual project.

Also, 100% of shares of the Camenca cannery are proposed for sale, as well as of the Rybnitsa bread factory, the Bender factory of bread products, the scientific-producing enterprise "Electricity Apparatuses", 42.99% of Electromash shares, 25% each of the Rybnitsa cement plant and the Bender sewing factory "Vestra".
