The Transnistrian foreign ministry wrote on its official website that the interlocutors exchanged opinions on the current state of things in the negotiation process, analyzed problems existing in the sides’ dialog “due to Moldova’s non-fulfillment of its commitments”.

Ignatiev assured the OSCE Special Representative that Transnistria uses every possibility to impart dynamic to the negotiation process.

Ambassador Thomas Mayr-Harting was received also by Transnistria president Vadim Krasnoselsky, who said that the pandemic and related restrictions are negatively telling on the dynamic of the Transnistria-Moldova negotiations.

“However, the society’s vital activity should not freeze due to the coronavirus. We need to learn how to live and interact in the new conditions. We should continue our joint work in the 5+2 negotiating format”, said Vadim Krasnoselsky.
