BASCAN OF GAGAUZIA DISCUSS WITH AMBASSADOR OF LITHUANIA "PRIORITY AREAS OF COOPERATION"

The priority areas of cooperation were discussed online on Wednesday by the Bascan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah and the Lithuanian Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Kestutis Kudzmanas. In particular, the parties "substantively considered the possibility of implementing in Gagauzia of a project to install solar power plants in three regional hospitals and three educational institutions of the autonomy." The first stage of the corresponding competition has already passed in Gagauzia, and the final results will be announced in September. The project cost is over 500 thousand euros. For their part, the authorities of Gagauzia are ready to invest 20% of the costs in the project. The total capacity of the power plants will be 500 kW. The leadership of Gagauzia expressed interest in studying the experience of Lithuania in matters related to the development of the IT industry.
