TIRASPOL NOT GOING TO REMOVE ITS QUARANTINE CHECK POINTS

15 september, 2020

The coronavirus check points, unfolded by the Tiraspol regime unilaterally in the Transnistria Security Zone, shall not be closed down, as Moldova is demanding, it was stated at the Monday’s meeting of the CoV operative headquarters functioning under the auspices of Transnistria president Vadim Krasnoselsky. The assembly arrived at a conclusion that as the pandemic is not receding and a cold season is approaching, these temporary control posts need to be developed namely to be provided with electricity and heating. By the present moment, out of the 37 such stations, unfolded earlier this year on “the Transnistrian border with Moldova for minimization of coronavirus importation”, only 11 have remained by now. However, Vadim Krasnoselsky presumes that this number may be increased in case of epidemiological situation deterioration.
