BASCAN OF GAGAUZIA DISCUSSES CURRENT ISSUES OF INTERACTION WITH TURKISH AMBASSADOR

The Bascan of Gagauzia Irina Vlah discussed with the Ambassador of Turkey to Moldova Gurol Sokmensuer “current issues of interaction, focusing on the priority infrastructure projects initiated in the autonomy.” The interlocutors touched upon the subject of the Bascan's planned visit to Turkey. Vlah stressed the interest of Gagauzia in economic ties and attracting Turkish investments to the region, which is relevant given the advantages that have appeared with the opening of the Turkish General Consulate in Comrat.
