BRITISH AMBASSADOR MEETS WITH TRANSNISTRIAN LEADER

On Thursday, Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova Steve Fisher visited Tiraspol, where he met with Transnistria president Vadim Krasnoselsky. The parties continued the discussion of the issues pertaining to their bilateral relations that was started during their previous meeting held last February, “as well as other questions presenting a mutual interest”, wrote the Transnistrian presidential press service. According to it, the interlocutors shared the opinion that “the most effective and valuable thing is a direct dialog, when interlocutors can express and substantiate each other’s positions without go-betweens or possible distorting of the essence”.
