PRESIDENT DODON BELIEVES THAT TRANSNISTRIAN PROBLEM CAN BE RESOLVED ONLY IN CONDITIONS OF FAVORABLE REGIONAL ENVIRONMENT

President Dodon stated in the interview with Radio Free Europe today that, in his opinion, the Transnistrian problem can be solved only in conditions of a favorable regional political environment.

"This means that the Republic of Moldova's reintegration should be desired not only by us in [the mainland] Moldova but also by the rest important players in the Transnistrian settlement process. If our partners in the East and the West - Russia, the European Union, the United States - wish to prove the success story and to cooperate in this question, then the conflict settlement can well become such a story", said President Dodon.
