REINTEGRATION BUREAU LAUNCHES INFORMATION CAMPAIGN FOR TRANSNISTRIANS

The Reintegration Bureau launched an information campaign for the citizens of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (PMR). The aim of the campaign is to simplify their participation in the international road traffic.

According to the Bureau’s press service, it is about obtaining special license plates and accompanying documents for the citizens’ transport.

The campaign is designed to “increase trust between the residents of the two banks of the Dniester River, to streamline the activity of the registration points in Tiraspol and Rybnitsa”.

In the framework of the campaign, the statistical data will be collected and analyzed on the grounds; the Transnistrian motorists will be informed about the current legislation and the international treaties requirements, involving the Republic of Moldova.

Territorial divisions of the Public Property Agency and the General Police Inspectorate of the Moldovan Border Police will provide detailed information on the procedures and documents needed for crossing the state border by a vehicle.
