GERMAN EMBASSY INVITES TO TRADITIONAL CONCERT OF CLASSICAL MUSIC
Chisinau. The German Embassy to Moldova invites citizens of Chisinau and the whole Moldova for a traditional concert of classical music, which will take place in the summer theater of the Valea Morilor lake on July 27.
German Conductor Patrick Strub, who cooperates with the chamber orchestra of the Organ Hall and the Symphonic Orchestra of the National Philharmonic Society said at a News conference in Infotag on Tuesday that the concert must become a genuine revelation for music lovers.
“The language of music is a particular language, which is understood by all the planet inhabitants. It is delightful that we give unforgettable concerts for Moldovan citizens. The concerts strengthen cultural relations between Moldova and Germany, Patrick Strub said.
Organizer and Commentator of the concert Janna Tanase remarked that this year the concert will be conducted under the slogan “The Magnificence of the World Music”.
“The program will include compositions by famous composers, including Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Richard Straus, Richard Wagner and Giuseppe Verdi. They will be performed by the orchestras of the Organ Hall and the Philharmonic Society. The conductor will be Patrick Strub. Soprano Tatiana Costiuc and Bass Marcel Rosca will participate in the concert, as well”, she added.
Tanase said that for autumn the German Embassy prepares another surprise – the Bethovinissimo festival.
The organizers said, if it rains, the concert will be transferred to the Philharmonic society. The admission is free.
