DESIGNERS OF MOLDOVA TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST OF YOUNG INTERIOR DESIGNERS
Chisinau. Young designers up to 25 years of age can participate in the Contest of Interior, organized for the second time by the Casa Modernă furniture shop, the Republican Center for Children and Youth with support on the part of the Moldova Union of Architects and Designers.
Casa Modernă Director General Velerii Gusilo said at a news conference in Infotag at the end of last week that the main prize of the contest is 50 thousand lei. Competitors can work out the design of the cafeteria, which is in the Republican Center for Children and Youth in the Stefan cel Mare Boulevard 169.
“Future participants can be registered before September 16 and to submit their works by October 4. Ten best works will be selected for awarding premiums. The finale of the contest will take place on October 16. Competitors will have to present and to defend their works”, Gusilo remarked.
Director of the Republican Center for Children and Youth Aurelia Hincu remarked that the center is currently being repaired.
It will be a contemporary building and we want that the cafeteria was particular. We also want to equip it with special equipment for children and young people with disabilities. We hope that young designers would offer interesting ideas, which will bring joy to everybody”, Hincu added.
For the first time the Contest of Young Designers took place in the Casa Modernă in 2007. That time 60 people submitted applications for the participation in the contest.
