Former woman prisoners will be able to reintegrate into the society easier owing to the Project “A new approach to poverty reduction in Moldova - combined efforts of NGOs and Local Authorities”. The project is implemented in Moldova by the International Society for Human Rights (Moldavian Section (Chisinau, Moldova) in partnership with German public organizations: Gustav Stresemann Institut e.V. (GSI) - European Academy, Bonn and Pro NGO! e.V. The project is implemented in 2009 – 2010.

MOLDOVAN ECOLOGISTS TO SUPPORT DABIJA AS CANDIDATE FOR ROMANIAN PARLIAMENT

Chisinau.  The “Alianţa Verde” [Green Alliance] Ecological Party will support the Chairman of the Democratic Forum of the Romanians of Moldova, Literatura şi Arta newspaper editor, writer Nicolae Dabija as a candidate for the Romanian Parliament at the November 30 elections.  

Alianţa Verde leader Vladimir Braga told a news conference in Infotag on Wednesday that Nicolae Dabija, in his scientific, literature and cultural activities, has proved to be a “spiritual ecologist”.

He stressed Dabija is in constant touch with the Romanians living in the Republic of Moldova as well as in Ukraine, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.   

“He has a profound knowledge of the political, economic and social situations in these countries. We are convinced that Mr. Dabija’s election to the Romanian Parliament as a deputy of the Romanians from these countries will promote the introduction of democratic and ecological principles”, said the party chairman.
