THREE MOLDOVANS MORE TO PRACTICE IN BUNDESTAG
Beginning from March 1, 2010, three Moldovan citizens more will pass training in German Bundestag in the frame of the International Parliamentary Scholarship program (IPS), which three representatives of Moldova pass yearly since 2008.
On Friday Charge d’Affairs of the German Embassy to Moldova Julia Kahrl said at a news conference that Moldovan scholarship holders will have a chance to make acquaintance with political events and decision-making democratic processes in Germany.
Last year trainee Olesea Nedealcu thanked the Bundestag and Germany for a chance to pass training in German Parliamentarian’s office and remarked that even many Germans have no similar possibility. She was taught to write official letters, make up reports for press conferences, as well as she visited the offices of Parliamentary factions in many federal lands.
Natalia Bantus, who won the scholarship in 2010, said that training in Bundestag is a valuable investment not only in her own carrier, but also in Moldova. She reassured that she will use the acquired skills for the benefit of Moldovan democracy.
Bantus preferred to be trained in the office of a deputy of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU/CSU), but she will be informed of the final decision, who will be her supervisor, on her arrival to Berlin.
Last year trainee Olesea Nedealcu also preferred the CDU/CSU faction and her desire was satisfied.
Candidates for the IPS scholarship for 2011 may submit their applications until June 30. For detailed information, visit the site of the German Parliament http://www.bundestag.de/ips
