GHIMPU SHOULD INSTITUTE AWARD FOR "MURDER" PROFESSIONALISM – IGOR TULEANCEV
The Russian Youth League and the Center of Democracy and Human Rights Protection demand of acting President Mihai Ghimpu to institute an award for the professionalism in murder for “high distinguished” people – Ilie Ilascu, Andrei Ivantoc, Alexandru Lesco and Tudor Popa.
League leader Igor Tuleancev said that Ghimpu should firstly ask people’s opinion before awarding terrorist group members called “Ilascu group” with the highest order of Moldova.
“Or he is not informed about the social mood, or he is an unhealthy person”, said Tuleancev.
According to the league leader, not only Moldovan mass media, but the international press too said repeatedly that group “Bujor” was involved in many terrorist acts in Transnistria, also in the murders of Transnistrian deputy Nicolay Ostapenco and staff chief of Slobozia raion Alexander Gusar.
“Decree says that these persons are awarded in token of a deep appreciation for a significant contribution to national liberation movement, for heroism and selflessness manifested in struggle for independence and territorial integrity of Moldova”, said Igor Tuleancev, and added that according to the acting President, “each Moldovan citizen shall be “deeply thankful” to Ilascu and his group”.
“This sort of statement will worsen the situation with Transnistria. Locals consider these actions could split the society”, said him.
According to the center representative Andrei Bogoliubsky, Moldova has her own heroes, but “diversionist were nowhere and never considered heroes”.
“Ghimpu put under doubt heroism principles by this decree. How the real heroes should interpret this decision?” said him.
