27.09.2007 FILAT’S YOUNG FOLLOWERS CLAIM PROJECT IS VIABLE

Chisinau, September 27 (Infotag). Today, yet another news conference was held in Infotag, convened by the former members of the Democratic Party’s youth organization, who followed MP Vladimir Filat out of the party, and who say they are sure his new political project is good.

Iurie Chiorescu, ex-chairman of the “Democratic Youth” Chisinau city organization, said at the news conference the initiative group is busy working over the project.

“Our new party is not going to be purely liberal. It will absorb everything the best from the conservatives and from the democrats. The project will be a really modern, European enterprise, the kind Moldova needs so badly”, said Chioresvu.

According to him, this group of young people left the Democratic Party because they just could not develop in it: “The DP youth organization is reigned by Oleg Tulea, his wife, and Victor Zubcu. Though they promised oceans to us, the only things they organized for us were 2 summer-school training sessions that were held in Tulea’s native place, Causeni, where we stayed in bad conditions”.

Chiorescu emphasized that nobody from the leaver group had been offered money from Filat.

“That was our own decision, and what our former party comrades are now saying are all lies. We back Vladimir Filat. We trust him, and are sure that we will build a good political project by joint effort”, said the young politician.
