CRISTAL-FLOR INSOLVENCY MANAGER ACCUSES ECONOMIC COURT OF POWER ABUSE

Manager of the Cristal-Flor company insolvency Nicolae Furtuna, supported by the League for Protecting Hereditary Rights Pro Echitate, has accused the Economic Court of Appeal of power abuse and of protecting particular enterprise creditors’ interest.

During the press conference on Wednesday, Furtuna accused the economic court and its chairperson Aurel Colenco of infringements made within the Floresti glass factory insolvency governing procedure and of his discharge from the insolvency manager’s position. He said he filed a suit to the Supreme Court of Justice where he demands the court to restore him in the position of Cristal-Flor administrator.

Lawyer Marcel Stagarescu supported him and accused the economic court of protecting group interests and damaging a strategic important enterprise.

According to them, the illegal actions covered by the court can cause that Cristal-Flor may loose assets to the amount of 40 million lei.

Furtuna said infringements in the factory insolvency governing are analogous to the situation with former owner of the Glodeni sugar factory – the company Gold Crown, where he is also the insolvency administrator.

“Both cases prove Aurel Colenco took in his hands all important cases where is involved Moldindconbank and decides for the bank benefit by infringing all legal norms”, Futuna said.

Infotag's dossier: Floresti glass factory was built in 1958. It produces as traditional, so the exclusive glass produces. It faces the insolvency procedure since 2005. The enterprise debts exceed 100 million lei.
