JCI CHISINAU LAUNCHES PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

30 march, 2015
JCI CHISINAU LAUNCHES PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECT The Junior Chamber International (JCI Chisinau) presents the project for personal development Bettery, which is aimed at supporting healthy initiatives at Moldovan youth. It is designed for 40 young people aged up to 30, who want to achieve positive changes in their lives and in the society in general.

During Monday’s news conference at Infotag, dedicated to the start of this project, Marianna Platon, one of the Bettery project organizers, said that its main goal is to present to young people the positive experience of Moldovan successful people, who already achieved certain success and recognition.

During 21 days, participants will do what the people, who achieved success, were doing – get up at 5:00, make sport, read certain books.

“Our source of inspiration is the “21 Day Habits Theory” by Dr. Maxwell Maltz, who maintains that 21 days are enough to develop a new habit. The idea of this project appeared with my desire to bring positive changes into my life and in the life of society by means of efficient management of time and possibilities”, said she.

The project has two stages. In the first stage, which will last a week, participants will attend trainings, discussions, where they will learn how to efficiently manage their time, financial resources, how to lead a healthy lifestyle and ensure continuous personal development. On the second stage they will put into practice knowledge gained in the first stage. At the end of the project, the most active participants will be awarded with diplomas and premiums from partners.

The training will be held in Chisinau. Its opening will take place on April 28 in the Summit Events&Conference Center.

The budget of the project is 81 thousand lei. To take part in the project, one should fill in the questionnaire on www.bettery.md until April 9. The real cost of the program is of 2900 lei per participant, but due to the support of JCI and partners, this sum was lowered to 449 lei.

Infotag’s dossier: The Junior Chamber International JCI Moldova was launched on September 29, 2011. Currently, it has four local committees in Chisinau, Ungheni, Rezina and Soroca.
