EME Parkleisystem GmbH representative Pal Ivancsis reported at a news conference in Infotag that about 2.5 thousand paid-for parking places will be build in the center of Chisinau beginning from January 2016.

 

In his words, the company is investing 4.5 million euro (100%) for the project implementation, equipping as many as 25 thousand parking places in Chisinau.

 

“The company will also provide management of paid-for parking places, acquire a mobile payment system, equip the territory, will do the marking and acquire tows”, said Pal Ivancsis.

 

He called the project “a grandiose one, as it will solve the problems associated with illicit parking, traffic movement and will also improve the city’s ecology”.

 

“Our team consists of professionals and financial investors in the field of public parking lots. Based on my own professionalism, I arrived in Chisinau as an investor. Our company provides services of paid-for parking places in Hungary for 10 years and is one of the most successful companies in Europe in this industry. In 2013, the company completed a transaction of 12 million euro. The company’s annual income is 16 million euro”, said Pal Ivancsis.

 

The Chisinau Municipal Council will set the parking cost. Those who are incorrectly parked will have blocked wheels. Residents of houses near the parking will park their cars free of charge.
