FEDERATION OF BESSARABIAN ASSOCIATIONS IN ROMANIA URGES MOLDOVANS TO APPLY TO ROMANIAN UNIVERSITIES   Federation of Bessarabian Associations in Romania urges Moldova citizens to apply for training on the first and second cycle of study in Romanian universities.

 

Federation member Constantin Cernega said at Tuesday’s press conference that a fair of universities will be organized in Balti and Cahul on July 15-18.

 

“Documents can be submitted to Chisinau theoretical lyceum Ion Creanga, Balti University Alecu Russo, and to Cahul admission board, which will be at the university fair. This year Romanian universities gave Moldova citizens about 2.8 thousand places for learning. Almost half of them are on a budget and contract”, said Cernega.

 

He called on Moldova citizens to contact the federation member after documents submission to get necessary assistance on arrival in Romania.

 

“During the fair we will speak about the benefits of studying in Romania universities, about what faculties to choose for admission, and about the difficulties candidates may encounter during training”, said federation member Cristina Leahu.

 

In her words, Moldova citizens, who will go to contract training in Romania will pay the same price as Romanian students.

 

She also noted that interested people can obtain additional information about the fair and admission conditions in the federation group in social networks and to ask questions.

 

The federation member Vlad Garab called on Moldova citizens to come to the fair and to choose desired university and department. According to him, the federation holds such university fairs for five years.

 

The federation members noted that every year about 300 places, allocated for Moldovans in Romania universities, remain free.

 

They also said that besides university fair they hold a campaign “help a newcomer” (Adopta un Boboc), in the framework of which members of different associations will help Moldova citizens on arrival to Romania.

 

In 2015, about 2.8 thousand places for training were allocated for Moldovans.
