SECOND EDITION OF BETTERY PROJECT TO BE HELD IN MOLDOVA The best project of personal development for Moldovan youth 2015 – BETTERY is starting the organization of its second issue.

 

At the Tuesday’s news conference at Infotag, Project Director Mariana Platon said that BETTERY is designed for personal development of young people and was organized by the Young Entrepreneurs Chamber of Chisinau (JCI). It was inspired from the theory of Maxwell Maitz – 21 Day Habit Theory, according to which only 21 days are necessary for changing one’s behavior and habits.

 

JCI Chisinau Chairman Stanislav Cobiletski told that currently, territorial structures of Chisinau and Rezina are parts of the JCI Moldova, while in perspective, its structural divisions will appear in other territorial-administrative units of the country.

 

“The JCI Moldova includes over 100 young people, who within the BETTERY project had the opportunity to improve with the help of experience and teachings of successful people, changing their behavior, habits and behavioral stereotypes for elaborating a more active attitude to life”, he said.

 

In 2015, the BETTERY project organized and successfully conducted its first edition, in which 40 young people aged between 21 and 35 with an active attitude to life participated.

 

According to the Project Director, the first edition participants were taught practices of efficient time management, how to correctly identify goals and main life reference points, how to correctly administrate money, health, mood and even emotions.

 

The second edition of the BETTERY Project will last one month. Within the first week, theoretical lessons will be held, while the next three weeks will account for practice, during which habits and behaviors of participants will be analyzed in detail by experienced mentors, who will give instructive and valuable tips. The fee for participation accounts for 750 lei.

 

Infotag’s dossier: The JCI Chisinau is member of the Worldwide Federation of Young Leaders and Entrepreneurs JCI. It includes about 200 thousand active members aged between 18 and 40 from over 100 countries. Some of well-known JCI members are US presidents John Kennedy. Jorge Bush and Bill Clinton, France president Jacques Chirac, Japanese Prime Minister Keizo Obuchi and Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates. The JCI has an advisory status in the UN and the Council of Europe.
