The chairman of the Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Boris Foca, believes that "the passing year 2023 was difficult but productive and gives hope for the future."         

At a press conference at the INFOTAG agency on Wednesday, he said that a total of 11 economic missions of Moldovan businessmen to China for various exhibitions and two missions to exhibitions with the participation of Chinese companies in the European Union countries were organized.           

"They were visited by managers of more than 100 domestic companies, who signed contracts worth millions of euros. In addition, during the trips, the Chamber's specialists organized bilateral meetings between members of the CCIs of Chinese provinces and Moldovan businessmen. These took place in the CCIs of Wuhan, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou. The signing of cooperation agreements with the Chamber of International Trade of China and the European Chamber of Commerce in Macao is worth mentioning. This will allow in the future to have detailed and reliable information about the numerous exhibitions that are held annually at various venues in China," Foca stressed.              

He also recalled that "today the Chinese market remains one of the most capacious markets in the world, which shows growth day by day."
