MASK REGIME RETURNS TO MOLDOVA
The National Emergency Commission for Public Health again recommends that Moldovan citizens wear protective masks indoors and keep a sanitary distance. According to the Health Ministry, this is stipulated in a series of measures and recommendations from yesterday's meeting of the commission.
Chairman of the commission, Prime Minister Natalia Gavrilita explained the need to increase the self-protection of citizens with the increase of cases of COVID-19 in recent weeks. The commission also adopted recommendations on the wearing of protective masks in public and private medical institutions, public transport, shopping malls, food and non-food stores. It also recommended a physical distance of at least one meter between people, rules of hygiene and a self-isolation regime for infected people.
According to the Ministry of Health, COVID-19 increased by 72.7% in the past week to 5,793 cases.
