MINISTRIES OF AGRICULTURE OF MOLDOVA AND ITALY SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

The Moldovan Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry and the Italian Ministry of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forestry have signed a Memorandum of Understanding. The document was signed in Rome by Ministers Vladimir Bolea and Francesco Lollobrigida. The main goal of the document is to promote economic, social and technological cooperation between Moldova and Italy in the agrarian sector and rural development. The memorandum envisages the exchange of knowledge and experience in different aspects of agriculture, including product diversification, digitalization and innovation, animal protection, environmental sustainability and risk management. The document was signed during the 34th session of the Regional Conference for Europe (ERC) of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), held in Rome.
