The National Bank of Moldova (NBM) has developed and launched an instant payment system called “Mia Plati Instant”. On Tuesday, the central bank, in partnership with the USAID Moldova Institutional and Structural Reforms Activity (MISRA), held its presentation.
The system is available in financial institutions of Moldova, allowing its users - individuals and legal entities - to transfer money by phone number in less than 15 seconds, without paying commissions and regardless of the bank.
PRICES IN MOLDOVA GREW BY 0.71% IN FEBRUARY
The rate of inflation in Moldova was 0.71% in February, 1.51% for two months of the current year, and 4.31% annually (from February 2023 to February 2024), the National Statistics Bureau reported on Monday.
