HEAD OF NORDGAZ FURNIZARIE CONSIDERS ILLEGAL THE DECISION TO SUSPEND THE COMPANY
Director of Nordgaz Furnizare Alexandru Grosu considers illegal the decision to suspend the company's license for three months, adopted on December 22 by the National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER). He said this on Wednesday at a press conference at the INFOTAG agency.

"If we do not even go into the merits of the decision, the Agency violated internal regulations. Stakeholders should be notified five days in advance about the NAER meeting, but the company was notified just a few hours before the meeting. The decision to suspend the license was based on the request of the operator Vestmoldtransgaz, but Nordgaz Furnizare was not able to get acquainted with the document before the meeting, thus the Agency violated the right to protect interests," Grosu stressed.

According to him, Nordgaz Furnizare was ready to "physically" deliver gas to Moldova from December 21 (which was supposed to come from Ukraine), but "could not do so because of Vestmoldtransgaz, which delayed the legal procedures for accepting the gas."

Grosu announced that his company will challenge NAER's decision in court.
