FORMER ANSA EMPLOYEES CALL FOR RESIGNATION OF AGENCY DIRECTOR
Former employees of the National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) - Maxim Sirbu, Serghei Maximenco, Grigore Porcescu call for the resignation of its director Radu Musteata. They accuse Mustrata and his deputies of irregularities damaging the budget.

Maxim Sirbu, a veterinarian who held management positions in the ANSA territorial offices, said at a press conference at the INFOTAG agency on Wednesday that in February 2024, "Musteata ordered him to resign, and upon receiving a refusal, he launched an official investigation and dismissed him."

According to Sirbu, "Musteata put pressure on unwanted employees, who did not want to work "in Radu Musteata's LLC," which he turned ANSA into." Sirbu added that other employees who held senior positions in the directorates and territorial offices were suspended with similar violations: Sergiu Ionita; Corneliu Gutu; Valeriu Golban.

According to him, as a result of the reorganization of the agency carried out under the current leadership, the shortage of veterinarians reaches 50%.

In conclusion, Maxim Sirbu stressed that the latest report of the National Center for Combating Corruption presented by the Parliament "puts ANSA among the most corrupt state institutions."

"What is the image of ANSA today, if the NCCC report clearly states that the Agency, under Musteata's leadership for two years, is the leader among the most corrupt institutions in Moldova? As an example: the director of the Customs Service, Igor Talmazan, resigned honorably from his post as a result of a case involving several inspectors suspected of corruption... Isn't Radu Musteata, as a leader, responsible for good governance and shouldn't he take responsibility for both successes and failures?," questioned Sirbu.
