Chisinau, August 19 (Infotag). The national federation AGROinform has created the country’s first “agricultural on-line exchange” on the website www.agravista.md.

AGROinform Executive Director Aurelia Bondari told a news conference in Infotag today that the website contains comprehensive information on agricultural produce offered to realization and about demand on it, about prices, about buyer companies from Romania, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, other countries, etc. The information will be updated daily.

First three months, local agricultural producers and interested buyers will be placing their announcements free of charge. Later, the Exchange will be functioning on commercial principles. AGROinform specialists are saying fees for the commercials are going to be more advantageous for producers than for buyers.

AGROinform will be following the activities of the Exchange that has been created in the framework of a program named “Integrated Efforts for Rural Capacities Building” being implemented in this republic. AGROinform has established the said website in collaboration with the Moldova’s Central Agromarketing Information Bureau (CAMIB), and hopes to eventually attract the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry to the Exchange’s functioning.
