CIVIL CONGRESS SPEAKS FOR DISSOLUTION OF PARLIAMENT AND EARLY ELECTIONS

Civil Congress advocates an immediate dissolution of parliament and early parliamentary elections. This was announced on Monday at a briefing in Infotag by the leaders of the Congress, which is a "party of collective action".

Marc Tcaciuc, one of the leaders, stressed that "urgent measures are needed to save the country."

"This is possible by dint of early elections which need to be carried out immediately, because only in this way can the country be saved," he said.

He recalled that the president does not have the authority to dissolve parliament. Therefore, the promises of presidential candidates that they will hold early parliamentary elections are impracticable. The Civil Congress proposes to focus on parliamentary elections, and suggests a way to dissolve parliament through the Constitutional Court (CC). "The Constitutional Court must annul the illegal decision of the Constitutional Court of March 4, 2016, which made the transition to the nationalwide presidential elections. This decision led to the usurpation and seizure of the state. Therefore, the Constitutional Court must annul that decision, restore the rule of law. The current parliament should be recognized by the Constitutional Court as illegitimate, which should entail holding early elections," he said.

According to him, the party is preparing an appeal to the General Prosecutor's Office regarding the decision of the Constitutional Court of March 4, 2016.

"The prosecutor's office should establish a measure of personal responsibility of each member of the Constitutional Court and bring them to justice according to the law," Tcaciuc said.

Party representative Zurab Todua appealed to President Dodon and members of parliament, claiming the need for early elections.

"The Civil Congress has no opportunity to appeal to the Constitutional Court. This can be done by the president or deputies. If they want early elections, they must challenge the decision of March 4, 2016 in the Constitutional Court," Todua stressed.

CIVIL CONGRESS CONSIDERS PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION TO BE DECEPTION AND CRIME

Civil Congress considers the upcoming presidential elections "cheating, civil conflict and crime." This was announced on Monday at a briefing in Infotag by its leaders.

"Those who are now in power or in parliament want to keep their privileged place at the trough of power. That's why they came up with the November 1 elections. This election is a sham. The people were thrown off the master's shoulder the popular presidential elections. They were given the opportunity to choose not the head of state, but a doll, a baby doll with a bow - a person who has no more powers than a lapdog," said one of the leaders, Tcaciuc.

He noted that the presidential elections "will become another fun that does not solve the country's problems."

"The elections will be a continuation of the seizure of power, and its participants will continue the cause of the oligarch Plahotniuc. The presidential election is also a civil conflict, another battle between supporters of the country's development along the Western model and along the Eastern path. Therefore, the presidential elections should be canceled and the procedure for dissolving the parliament should be started," Tcaciuc stressed.
