MOLDOVAN CITIZEN ACCUSES LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES OF INIQUITIES Moldovan citizen Maria Olar reported at the press conference that the Moldovan law enforcement agencies do illegality and instead of protecting citizens they apply force to them.

She said that she had previously worked in Italy and Russia earning money there.

“After a while I returned to Moldova, built a house and opened a small business – a car wash. On June 15, two guys came to the car wash and. They washed their car but refused to pay for the service, saying that everything was done badly”, said the woman.

She said that she called the police in this regard.

“Police arrived on the scene. One of them started to execute the protocol and the other took the driver into the room and hit him. After that they called another patrol car. Then the scandal broke, and after that more serious problems began”, stated Olar.

According to her, on July 16, prosecutors of sectorul Ciocana court of Chisinau Denis Poiata and Anatol Vitu refused to initiate criminal proceedings against the police on the occasion of the incident.

“I was fined 1500 lei and on September 3 I received a decision on initiation of legal proceedings. I was asked to take the statement against police and then the police will close the case against me. All this iniquity happens because the police saw that our family doesn’t need their so-called protection, to have no problems with the business”, said Olar.

She noted that the family is not going to give up. Despite the fact that two sons are abroad and the daughter is studying in Moldova, we will ensure that the guilty to be punished.

“People want to live and work in Moldova, but they are not allowed; that is why they are leaving their homes against their will. Why is it impossible to live a normal life in Moldova, to grow and to develop the country?” outraged Maria Olar.
