First international forum “Investments - basis for Gagauzia development” will be held in Comrat State University on November 6-7.

 

During news conference at Infotag Gagauzia Bashkan [governor] Irina Vlah said that besides representatives of Moldovan delegations, around 250 participants from eight countries – Lithuania, Estonia, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Azerbaijan, Romania and Russia – will participate in the forum. The most numerous team will be representing Russia.

 

According to her, the forum will be moderated by Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova (CCI) Valeriu Lazar, while among speakers will be Ridha Tekaia, President of the Moldovan daughter of the French financial group Societe Generale – Mobiasbanca, Chairman of the Danube Logistics Company Thomas Moser and others.

 

“At the forum there will be discussed the advantages and disadvantages of the autonomy in particular and Moldova in general, perspectives of overcoming the crisis, as well as there will be proposed over 20 projects in the field of investment technologies, energy and tourism, an exhibition of goods produced in Gagauzia will be working”, Vlah said.

 

According to her, one more important and interesting event will be held in Gagauzia on November 8 – the Day of Wine [Gagauz şarap yortusu-2015], where Bashkan presented a special surprise for all guests.
