MIHAI POPȘOI: JAPAN IS AN IMPORTANT INVESTOR AND TRADING PARTNER FOR MOLDOVA

Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi met with the Ambassador of Japan to Chisinau, Yoichiro Yamada. They highly appreciated the development of bilateral relations. ”Japan is an important investor and trading partner that supports the democratic processes and the European path of the Republic of Moldova,” the minister said, thanking Japan for substantial assistance in numerous development projects and enhancing the state's potential, especially in areas such as medicine, energy efficiency, agriculture, and education. Serving as a MP from 2021 to 2024, Popșoi chaired the parliamentary friendship group with Japan.
