Chisinau, January 25 (Infotag). The Moldovan Association of War Veterans considers that Chisinau municipal authorities have deprived them of their land plots unfairly.

Association Chairman Vasilii Zaiat said at a press conference on Thursday in Infotag that in 2002 the municipality allotted 0.6 hectares of land for building housing for veterans.

“However, in 2003 the Santuana stock corporation said that since 1995 it was the owner of this land and submitted the respective documents to the cadastre bureau and to the municipality. We are sure that the documents are false, because the company submitted only copies, but not originals”, he said.

Zaiat remarked that the Association addressed to the President, to the Government, to the Parliament, but without any result for the time being. According to the Chairman, if it is not possible to right a wrong in local instances, the organization will appeal to the European Court of Human Rights.
