The International Women’s Club of Moldova will conduct on Saturday, April 23, a charitable “Art Evening”, said the project Coordinator Olga Goncearova at the news conference at Infotag.

 

According to her, the event has been organized to give Moldovan artists the opportunity to present and sell their works. The money, collected from selling tickets to the event, will go for helping the needy.

 

“The 2016 Art Evening is conducted for already the 12th time and it will be held in the Palace of the Republic on 16:00 to 21:00. The exhibition will present canvases of both well-known and young artists, as well as works of Chisinau and Telenesti art school pupils. The canvases will be sold at a silent auction”, Goncearova said.

 

She added that guests will benefit of many surprises, as well as of live jazz music, exquisite wine, snacks.

 

“Besides having a great evening, visitors will help children and the needy. At the previous evenings we managed to collect 11 thousand euros”, said the coordinator Angela Stoico.

 

The cost of the ticket is 100 lei. Beneficiaries of the exhibition will become 5 students of Chisinau art school, five artists who got into difficult situation, center against violence “Helmut Wolf” in Ciuciuleni (Hincesti raion) and the project “Messy Art” of the educational center for children with cancer.

 

People, who cannot come to the event, but want to help, may make their contribution by purchasing ticket at the website www.iticket.md
