ON FRIDAY MOLDOVAGAZ COMPANY WILL APPLY TO ANRE WITH REQUEST FOR TARIFF REDUCTION FOR CONSUMERS

On Friday, Moldovagaz will ask the National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) to reduce the tariff for consumers, said Moldovagaz Chairman of the Board Vadim Ceban. During a program on N4 TV channel, he said on Thursday evening that Moldovagaz will ask for a tariff reduction of about 8% or more. This will be the second reduction of the gas tariff this year. At the end of February, ANRE reduced the gas tariff for household consumers from 18.07 lei (including VAT) to 14.47 (including VAT) lei per cubic meter. If Moldovagaz's request is satisfied, the tariff may decrease to about 13 lei per cubic meter.
