An economic forum with the participation of business representatives from Moldova, China, Bulgaria and Romania may be held in Chisinau by the end of the year.  The Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Boris Foca, announced this at a press conference at the INFOTAG agency on Wednesday.      

He expressed confidence that "the forum will be a great occasion to establish relations and then partnerships with Chinese companies."        

"We count on the support of the Moldovan authorities, who will ensure the political component of this project. We are now working out the agenda of the forum. There is nothing more optimal than direct meetings, face to face and without intermediaries, between suppliers of goods and services and buyers, potential investors and those looking for investments. I think the forum will become a platform for organizing new successful cases," Foca stressed.         

According to him, the CCI includes 40 Moldovan companies.         

He also noted that imports from China to Moldova have been growing recently by 15-20 per cent every year, which testifies to the expansion of economic cooperation between the friendly states.
