Chisinau, May 3 (Infotag). The Timpul Club of the people of business stands for consolidation of local entrepreneurs irrespective of their specialization or political outlooks. On Wednesday, Timpul organized a news conference in Infotag on the occasion of the club’s 10th anniversary.

Its president, Director General of the Orvento Metal company Igor Krapivka is convinced that such consolidation will facilitate a more active development of the Moldovan national economy. He said, that’s only how people of business are able to help each other to improve their work indicators

Timpul stands for a drastic reform and optimization of the Moldovan tax system. In this and other spheres, the Club actively cooperates with the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and associations of businessmen in Russia, Ukraine, and Poland.

Linella Group Chairman Nicolae Pojoga said Timpul renders its efficient assistance to beginning entrepreneurs and even to university students, helping them overcome problems at the early stages of their businesses.

Founded on May 4, 1996, Timpul presently unites over 50 prominent business managers. One of its chief initiators was Vladimir Babii, the former Chief Administrator of the country’s first Expo-Business-Chisinau free enterprise zone. Presently, Babii works abroad.
