GROUP OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS ALLEGED HUMAN RIGHTS VIOLATIONS IN MOLDOVAN UNIVERSITIES AND CALL ON AUTHORITIES TO INTERVENE
A group of Nigerian students have alleged human rights violations and acts of corruption at two Moldovan universities where they study and are calling on the authorities to intervene because "their lives may be in danger."
During a news conference at INFOTAG news agency, student Akande Idri stated that the institutions in question were "the University of Political and Economic European Studies "Constantin Stere" (USPEE) and the American University of Moldova".
According to the student, "Ugbo Johnbull, a Nigerian and Moldovan citizen, who was recently appointed academic officer at the American University and USPEE, attracts Nigerians to study in Moldova", then "the rules are changed during the game, students are asked for illegal payments, which can range from 700 to several thousand euros. The students claim that they receive only formal and not real education, live in unfavorable conditions, and are constantly asked for money under unfounded pretexts.
Student Ezeike Chukwuemeka Nathaniel also stressed that "if we don't submit to the demands, there are threats, including deportation." According to him, "Nigerian students are being expelled for no reason, and there are more than ten cases of forced deportation."
Moreover, the students claim to have evidence of corrupt acts by said individuals. Their statement was supported by the Nigerian Union of Moldova.

Firstly I would love the authorities to place a travel ban to all Nigerian students studying in these Universities here in Moldova and the Universities Administration to ensure that nobody leaves the country until this whole situation is properly investigated. Let the spirit of God take control and the truth prevail in Jesus Name Amen.

Mr johnbull ugbo should be investigated because he has extorted many Nigerians to come to Moldova. Government should take measures. Our people are been mislead by mr johnbull

I’m a student in Aum and I know that this many is using us for is personal life gain and take money from us he claim he does not take money from us forcefully but he ask us to pay so much for a hostel where we can pay for 2 bed room at same amount outside with good leaving coordination after we complain the first time he went ahead the next day to bring a repair guy immediately to cover up and all I say are with prove which I have the pictures and videos and also we have other proves where he calling students are telling them to wear face cap and come out and talk he said he has assisted them before and they most come out to help him in his time of trouble even tho this students know the truth but they are scared because he claim he is the gorilla

The fact is this criminal called Ugbo Johnbull still believing he’s right based on the black magic him and is so called father in law which happens to be his Godfather is doing, imagine the bastard calling few students he claimed to help one way or the other and threatening them to come out and talk that he’s a good person, the question is if you are good you won’t be calling be people telling them what to say about you, the stupid man has audacity to organize a secret meeting with few students that’ll go and testify what’s going on is not true about him, please I’m pleading on behalf of all the students let Moldova Government take proper investigations about him and his so called bitch (Ashawo) Promise they must not go Scot free
