MOLDOVAN ENTREPRENEURS ARE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE WORLD

The Chairman of the Moldova-China Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Boris Foca, invites Moldovan entrepreneurs to participate in the largest world import exhibition China International Import Expo (CCIE), which will be held in Shanghai from November 5 to 10.

He stressed at a press conference at INFOTAG agency on Tuesday that thousands of its participants will showcase their products at the 1.5 million-square-meter National Exhibition and Convention Center.

"As China removes post-industrial restrictions, this country's market is opening up to the world more and more. Why are we inviting Moldovan business people on this mission? In Shanghai, the leaders of production in a wide range of fields will be represented, including European concerns. It is on this first-class world platform that producers and buyers will be able to negotiate face to face. Without intermediaries, which greatly facilitates the terms of transactions," the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry informed.

Moreover, Boris Foca emphasized that in recent years, the Chinese market has demonstrated two features - it is the fastest growing and is the world's largest consumer.

"The Chinese leadership has set the task of saturating the market with high-quality goods. China has entered a new stage of development, when the need for imported goods is continuously expanding. In the next five years China will import goods and services worth 10 trillion dollars. Moldovan business has something to offer and demonstrate on such a huge market. We are ready to help all those willing to go on a business mission to Shanghai in the organization of the trip, legal and technical consultations," Foca noted.

He also emphasized that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry is negotiating with Chinese diplomats on the possibility of having a national stand of Moldovan goods at the next exhibition in Shanghai, in order to "show the goods with a face."

In addition, Foca outlined to the Moldovan businessmen that the CCI "Moldova-China" is "able to become a bridge, a link between Chinese business people on the one hand and their probable partners in Moldova."

During the press conference, it was also emphasized that Shanghai itself is the largest port in the world and a leader in container transportation. Millions of people pass through Shanghai airport per year, and the city itself is among the top cities of "million-people" (in terms of population).

China International Import Expo is held under the patronage of Xi Jinping, Chairman of the People's Republic of China.
