Chisinau, March 23 (Infotag). The Alianţa Verde ecological party and the Acţiunea socială bloc of Chisinau municipal councilors invited oppositional political parties to form a joint bloc for participating in the upcoming elections.

Alianţa Verde Chairman Andrei Dumbraveanu said on Friday at a press conference in Infotag that his entity has already had talks with representatives of a number of political formations, but the sides fail to come to agreement for the time being.

“The Acţiunea socială political movement is ready to set up an electoral bloc with us, but, unfortunately, it has not been registered for the time being”, Dumbraveany said.

He considers that the opposition can win the elections in the capital city, only if it pull together its efforts and will put forward a joint candidate.

According to Dumbraveanu, the failure in setting up an electoral bloc will not make the movement to refuse from the participation in the local elections.

Municipal Councilor, Member of the Acţiunea Socială bloc Mihail Roscovan said that five candidatures for the Mayor’s posts were selected, but he did not unveil them.

The Acţiunea Socială bloc of Chisinau municipal councilors consists of seven persons, but only three of them agreed to side with the Ecological Party.
