The "Night of European Researchers" (Noaptea Cercetatorilor Europeni) will be held in Chisinau and Balti on Friday, September 30, with the support of the European Union. The organizers of the event, from the Technical University of Moldova, A. Russo State University (Balti), Moldovan Academy of Sciences and InfoGroup non-governmental organization, told about it at a press conference in INFOTAG agency on Wednesday.

The event will take place in the park-museum of the Technical University in Chisinau and the square of A. Russo University in Balti. The event is multi-faceted, there will be a fashion show, various contests and interactive games for children, an exhibition of students' works in the field of technical innovation and the exhibition-contest "Creativity opens the universe". The event in Chisinau will be finished with the concert of Pasa Parfeni.

The goal of the "Night of European Researchers" is to arouse interest towards science and scientific research among citizens, to demonstrate how science influences and changes life.

The events in Chisinau and Balti will start at 16:00. Entrance is free.
