GROUP OF BLOGGERS CALLED ON MOLDOVAN POLITICAL CLASS AND FELLOW CITIZENS TO "PEACEFULLY RESIST THE RULING PAS PARTY"

A group of bloggers has appealed to Moldova's political class represented by the parliamentary and non-parliamentary opposition, as well as to all fellow citizens to "peacefully resist the ruling Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS)."  They stated this at the news conference in INFOTAG agency on Monday, saying that they were creating a non-governmental and non-political organization called "Spring of Hope."

One of its founders, Dina Carpinschi, described the main goal of the association as "making the current ruling regime work by all legal means for the benefit of ordinary citizens, not politicians, parties, or outside curators."

Public activist Vlad Dascal believes that the current regime is destroying education and schools, forcing citizens to leave the country, because "it is impossible to pay for the tariffs that have increased several times on an average salary."

He was supported by activist Victor Tomov, reminding that today the fate of the country is decided by the 63 deputies of the ruling PAS Party majority.

"We must go to the protests en masse.  There are 63 of them, and we are 2.5 million people. We appeal to politicians and parties.  Think before December 20 - will you join us or not. What is happening to the population now is a genocide committed by the ruling party and tacitly encouraged by outside curators.  But we live here - in Moldova. The authorities are afraid of ordinary citizens, and we are tired of PAS policy, when a state of emergency is imposed six times in a row for no apparent reason!  What is happening now is a genocide of the Moldovan people," the activist stressed.

At the same time, the bloggers promised to send their appeal to all political parties.
