CEC PRESENTED PRELIMINARY RESULTS OF NEW AND PARTIAL LOCAL ELECTIONS ON MAY 19

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has presented preliminary results of new and partial local elections held on May 19 in nine Moldovan localities.

According to CEC data, in the elections of the mayor of Bucovat, Straseni district, Nicolae Lozovan from PAS party (34,57%) and Irina Maximova (29,39%) from European Social Democratic Party got the most votes. A total of 541 votes were cast. The winner will be decided in the second round.

In the election of the mayor of the village of Russcaia Chioselia in the Gagauz autonomy, the independent candidate Gheorghe Gospodinov won. He was the only candidate and got 240 votes. In the village council elections in this village, the Renaissance Party, which was also the only candidate in this village, was provisionally victorious.

The results of the elections for Salcia village council, Taraclia district: Chance party (54 votes); Revival party (18); PSRM (12). In the elections for the village council of Cialic village, Taraclia district, 188 votes for the "Chance" party, which was the only electoral contestant in this locality.

In the elections for the mayor of Sagaidac village, Cimislia district, Ion Cojocaru from PAS is the preliminary winner. he received 412 votes, which is 61,4%.

In the elections of the mayor of Tirnova village, Donduseni district, Vladimir Gisca from PSRM (39,7%) and Ruslan Filipas from "Chance" party (29,35%) are leading. They will fight in the second round of the election. 1131 votes were cast.

In the election of the mayor of the village of Hanasenii Noi, Leova district, Iurie Lungu from PAS wins. He received 229 votes, which is 60.42%.

In the election of the mayor of Cotovscoe village (Gagauzia), independent candidate Gheorghi Palic wins. Being the only candidate, he got 262 votes. The National Alternative Movement (MAN) party, which was also the only candidate in the village, won the elections for the village council.

Results of the elections for the village council of Cairaclia, Taraclia district: “Chance” Party (260 votes); Party for the Future of Moldova (67), Renaissance Party (41); PCRM (38).
