On Tuesday, 60 maib employees went to Amsterdam, where they will adopt the experience of successful European banks. In an interview with INFOTAG correspondent, the bank's chairman of the board Giorgi Shagidze said that they will visit ING and ABN Amro banks.

"It is important for us to familiarize employees with the transformation process of one of these financial institutions, which allowed it to be on the cutting edge of customer needs. The maib employees will see from practical examples of these banks how the customer service process is delivered and functions, especially in an agile environment," the banker explained.

Speaking of the transformation that maib is currently going through, his top manager mentioned a special educational program developed together with the specialists of Stanford University (USA).

"The course will last eight weeks and will focus on leadership, strategy and corporate culture. About 60 top and middle management employees will participate in the program. They will be involved in exciting leadership courses developed by the Stanford Graduate School of Business," Shagidze noted, stressing that "people are maib's competitive advantage."
