Moldova’s largest financial institution, the maib bank, launched a new service - the possibility of making transactions in lei at any time of the day with instant processing and receipt of funds to the accounts of more than 40 thousand counterparties of the bank.

By means of the Internet Banking system, business clients can make payments to service providers at any time and immediately use the funds received from other partners who are maib clients.

The new service allows customers to pay for services and goods around the clock, replenish maib business cards from a current account in maib and vice versa, make transfers in lei between their accounts, carry out foreign-currency purchase/sale operations between accounts opened in maib, at the commercial exchange rate at the time of the transaction.

A maib official told Infotag that thanks to this service, business clients gain accessibility and independence, as they always have access to their account through the Internet Banking system to send or receive money even outside the bank's business hours - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

“And at the same time, the client does not pay any additional fees for processing transactions outside the bank's business hours,” the banker said.
