RADU ALBOT ELIMINATED FROM THE TIRIAC OPEN TOURNAMENT IN ROMANIA

The best Moldovan tennis player Radu Albot dropped out of the competition at the Tiriac Open tournament in Romania. In 1/8 finals he lost to 17-year-old Joao Fonseca, ranked 276th in the ranking: 6-7 and 2-6. For reaching the second round of the tournament, Albot received a prize money of just over 10 thousand euros and 25 points in the ATP ranking. In the first round Radu defeated Alexandr Kovachevich (USA). The prize fund of the ATP tournament is 651 thousand euros.
