MOLDOVA INVESTMENT FORUM TO BE HELD IN CHINA

A forum on the topic of investment opportunities in Moldova and the promotion of organic agricultural and wine produce will take place in Tianjin.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, a corresponding agreement was achieved at the Tuesday's meeting of Moldovan Minister Tudor Ulianovschi with mayor of this Chinese town-port Zhang Guoqing.

"We are ready to support the projects on cooperation between Moldovan and Chinese free economic zones, which will allow extending mutual presence of companies on markets of both countries", Zhang Guoqin said, adding that both the sea port in Tianjin - the world's 10th largest port, and the famous wine cellars in the city may serve a connection bridge in China for extending the networks of Moldovan wine promotion.

The Moldovan Minister told about the adopted measures on improving Moldova's business environment and the attraction of investments, inviting the region's businesses to come to Moldova with investments.

"Due to free trade agreements with the EU, the CIS and Turkey, Moldova is a good bridge for enlarging trade and economic relations both westwards and eastwards", he said.
