​ENERGOCOM WINS TENDER FOR SUPPLYING NATURAL GAS IN MAY TO NATIONAL OPERATOR - MOLDOVAGAZ

The state-owned company Energocom will supply natural gas to Moldova's national operator, the company Moldovagaz, in May. As reported by the INFOTAG agency, Energocom won Moldovagaz's bid on Tuesday for the supply of natural gas in May through the BRM East Energy trading platform.

”Moldovagaz, as a public service provider, in the context of fulfilling the provisions of the 'Natural Gas' law, with the aim of balancing between the minimum procurement price and ensuring gas supply to end consumers, initiated its procurement for May 2024 through the BRM East Energy trading platform,” wrote Vadim Ceban, the chairman of the Moldovagaz management board, in his Telegram channel, announcing that Energocom has been selected as the gas supplier.

“According to the auction conditions, the delivery price will be set on the last day of April 2024. The price formula will be linked to the TTF front month index,” wrote Ceban.

Vadim Ceban noted that Moldovagaz, under his management, will continue to procure natural gas for its consumers at the lowest prices available on the market.
