PSRM FACTION CONFIRMS INTENTION TO SUPPORT ‘BUDGET PACKAGE’ FOR 2021

The Party of Socialists (PSRM) has decided to support in the Parliament’s Standing Committees the drafts of the country’s fiscal policy, of the State Budget, and of the budgets of social and health insurance for 2021. The decision was taken at the sitting of the parliamentary PSRM faction that was attended by incumbent President Igor Dodon.

“All these bills must be adopted and become laws before the end of the current year, so that they could enter into force and start working from January 1, 2021. It would be a great irresponsibility to leave the country without its main financial and budget documents of the year, the more so that it has been budgeted to raise salaries to public sector employees from January 1”, said Ion Dron.

The PSRM faction confirmed its intention to support the Government proposed by President-Elect Maia Sandu – on condition that it will consist of professionals.
